Amazing Health Tips

Most of the tips you see here take very little time – often just seconds – AND . . .  very little money.   Just choose one tip at a time, and try to work it into your schedule – your regular schedule, until it becomes a habit – you won’t believe the progress you will make . . . DIG IN!

The best way to start-off with an amazing day is to GOOD TO BED at a decent hour the night before!  We all have memories, maybe last night,? where we know we had to get up at a certain time . . . for work . . . for a meeting . . . for an online class . . . to meet your child’s teacher . . . HOW LONG IS THE LIST of reasons? . . .  to GET OUT OF BED FEELING WELL RESTED? Today is the day the you MUST RESOLVE to GO TO BED ON TIME.  Search our site – we have ideas for this!

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO THE FIRST THING in the morning – EVERY MORNING? . . . Well, you roll out of bed, or step out of bed, or bounce out of bed, or hop out of bed, or you just ease yourself to the edge of the bed, put on your slippers . . . you look up (or out the window, or even  go to the mirror) and say ‘SELF . . . this is going to be one terrific day’ At this point you should have already grabbed your glass of water – that you put by your bedside the night before . . . and drink – the first of 8+ glasses of water you will drink today, and if you don’t believe in magic – then don’t need to read this: WATER is the ANSWER to many nutritional and gastronomic issues.

Lemon water – I got addicted to it. I have a rather large plastic container nto which I put fresh lemon. I cut the lemon into pieces then add water, and put it in the freezer the night before. As I only fillee he container 75%, I add water in the morning and drink from this container all day long. The lemons frozen in the water create a decent sized chunk of ice overnight, so unless we’re in the Dog Days of Summer – I can refill this all day long for a cool lemon drink that really satisfies. Find a way to have a refreshing drink that is not sweet, by you side . . . many people like teas, which are widely available at convenience stores . . . stay away from sugar!

Coffee is heavily debated, but I gotta say that I think coffee is ok.  I gave up suger in coffee many moons ago – and you should too.  Starting off your day with any kind of sugary drink is setting your day up for ‘less success’ – NO DAY IS A FAILURE!  Before getting addicted to my large container of all-day-lemon-water, I was able to kick the habit of putting powdered creamer in my coffee . . . I did not realize how much that was working against me.. I may not take a sip until 11am, but I make a cup of black coffee shortly after I get up – so it’s there.  There are naysayers for everything (even: don’t each too much spinach!), so just realize that some things are more bad for you than others – Enjoy your coffee!
